Former NJIT all conference player Ari Fulton will transfer to St. Bonaventure. Interesting move for sure but I expect him to have a huge role for the Bonnies. Woj must’ve been all over this one when he saw Fulton still in the portal.

Brendan Oliver from West Orange, NJ is making the return to NJ after 1 season at Canisius. The 6’6 forward played in 30 games with 2 starts and will add great athleticism and size to the roster. Played HS ball at Blair Academy.

Brandon Stores Jr., nephew of assistant coach RaShawn Stores will come in as a redshirt freshman after spending last season playing in just 1 game at Georgia Tech. The 6’5 CG/SF was a 4⭐️ and the 88th ranked player in the country in the 2025 class(247sports).

Mario Tatum Jr was the first to commit. He spent last season at VMI. As a freshman he averaged 8.5ppg and 2.0rpg. The 6’3 guard from Maryland will bring some great size to the backcourt.

On the bright side, America East Rookie of the Year David Bolden will be returning next year for the highlanders. This was crucial for Coach Grant to be able to retain NJIT’s second conference rookie of the year in the last 3 season. Bolden will be the focal point of the offense
Tariq Francis departed for Rutgers. These guys were huge pieces of what led the highlanders to their first home playoff game ever. Although it hurts the highlander faithful, we wish them the best of luck at the next stops.
So far, NJIT has had 3 players enter the transfer portal, including our 2 all conference players Sebastian Robinson and Ari Fulton. As well as rotation big man Malachi Arrington. These are some huge losses for NJIT, especially following last year when (Part 1)

The 6-foot guard averaged 11.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists. Started every game.

The 6-7 sophomore guard averaged 10.9 points and 6.2 rebounds this season. Has started 52 games in his two years with NJIT.
