Yesterday I watched a really disturbing report on NTV.
And honestly, it just confirmed what I’ve been talking about since last October.
In one family alone, 10 people now have cancer and Parkinson’s, and doctors have linked it to long-term exposure to herbicides and pesticide-contaminated food. The same things we have been testing and found in food. (The pic below is of a member of the family who has Parkinson's and throat cancer )
What shocked me is that in a nearby village, there are even more cases. So this isn’t just one family.
I’ve seen this problem firsthand. I remember visiting a farming area in 2023 and finding a young man spraying glyphosate with no protective gear at all. Just a vest. That was it.
I also remember visiting parts of Mt Kenya, where several families were dealing with cancer, and one thing stood out: farmers in those areas were heavily using toxic chemicals on food crops while consuming them.
And this is the part that really bothers me: many Kenyans are getting serious illnesses and never even suspect that the food they eat every day could be part of the problem.
I’ve attached a short clip from the NTV report in the replies.
We’ll keep doing independent food testing, continue documenting and sharing what we find.
What an honor to be a #Top40Under40Ke
This recognition is not mine alone, it belongs to the 15 farmers who trusted my leadership, fighting for their right to save, share, & exchange seeds in Kenya. Together we are protecting our seed sovereignty

Food sovereignty means being in control of what you eat and how it’s grown.
A small kitchen garden can help you achieve food sovereignty.
By letting you grow your own fresh vegetables without toxic pesticides, tailored to your needs and preferences.#foodsovereignty

1/3 🌧️ It is not unusual to experience rains in July in Kenya. This occurs when cold air from central and eastern regions, including Nairobi, interacts with warm moist air from the west. The warm air rises over the cold air, leading to heavy advective rains. 🌬️
You will never convince our generation that you can ever be trusted, ever again. When young people marched patriotically, wearing Kenyan flags on their backs and raising their voices, you responded with bullets and death. And NOW you have supposedly ‘heard’ and want dialogue? For 20 months you have been speaking, it’s our time now.
No more commissions of enquiry, no more multisectoral taskforces, no more reports, no more diverting our attention. If you have heard us, then no more talking—just act. We want to wake up in the morning with budget allocations reworked, with the Appropriations Bill overhauled, your MPs sacked, your Cabinet Secretaries sacked, the wheels of Constitutional amendments to begin turning, and your resignation on Gen-Z's desk for them to decide whether to accept.
This will go down in history, and we are no longer in an era where history can be manipulated. #RutoMustGo
