@nessmines@njomitata@Steve_Labile By a few I meant quite a lot. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ I belong to many Manchester groups. Though I suspect some members are rival team members in there judt to troll us ๐ ๐
@njomitata@Steve_Labile I'd respectfully disagree. Not same midfield. Besides new players were brought in and never tested so to speak. It's not about bringing in new players. It's the chemistry they have to develop over time. Team again not pushfull. Let's not out it on one player only.
@njomitata@Steve_Labile I know a few. Besides, Lammens now has way better defense and midfield than Onana had. Did Onana make mistakes? Yes. But crucifying the guy for the teams lacking in my humble opinion isn't the way to go. People are just stuck on a couple of mistakes.
@amadedon@David_Ornstein@TheAthleticFC We need team depth for all the competitions we are playing in and this signing isn't only okay but addresses a defensive midfield profile we would be lacking in if we didn't sign him. Plus I suspect he might be a left back from time to time given we lack a good one at the moment.
@RealMamadouGaye Until the structure changes on how some (most) African associations and teams are managed, I see more of a loss than benefit overall. Simple reason being we're not ready to manage that money as current trends show. Commercializing football privately, just bad for business. Greed.
@heis_fede It is my personal opinion that this issue persists because the authorities that be, are not doing enough about it. Anyone who abuses another racially on any sports arena should be banned for life and even fined where applicable. Be you a fan or player...
@nocontextfooty That dog was trained by the Moroccan Towel Boys & Girls Association. ๐คชSorry had to drop that one in. Was too good a chance to miss ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
@damiwealthmusic@UTDRico8 Thank you for this thought. We sometimes like to pick on small things while missing the big picture. Our defense has gotten way better right now than it was when Onana played. Midfield too and the wingers. It's easy to criticize. Make a reel of Onana saves and compare fairly.
@donmirex@AfricanHub_ You see, the point I'm making is that with that mindset we'll continue to fall behind because we are okay with individual players doing well out of their countries. We should grow the African leagues. It's doable..
@donmirex@AfricanHub_ Africa has always had great players playing in Europe. It's okay to develop individual talents but until we work as a continent we will always fall behind. We can make AFCON equal or surpass Euro in quality. There's talent to prove it. So he's right in my opinion.
