โ๏ธ๐ฆ๐ช๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฐ - Fresh video footage has emerged showing the dramatic moment an Air ACT Boeing 747-481 cargo plane, operating as Emirates SkyCargo flight EK9788 from Dubai, skidded off the northern runway (07L) and plunged into the sea during landing at Hong Kong International Airport early this morning.
The incident, which occurred around 4 a.m. local time, resulted in the tragic deaths of two ground workers, while all four crew members were successfully rescued with no reported injuries.
The aircraft, registration TC-ACF, was declared a total loss, and the northern runway has been temporarily closed for investigation, though the airport's central and southern runways remain operational to minimize disruptions.
Authorities, including the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, are probing the cause, with initial reports pointing to possible wet runway conditions from recent rain.
