NEW British Government mandated routine for children:
6:30am: Wake up, go to school immediately
7:00am: Taught to brush teeth by teacher
10:00am: Fruit break, sugar is illegal
12:00pm: Lunch
3:00pm: Teleport home, too knifey to walk
5:00pm: More fruit
6:00pm: bed time
I am going to say this bluntly
You are a FAILURE as parents if you can't keep you child off social media yourself
YOU bought them the phone
YOU can confiscate it during homework
YOU are the parent, NOT Keir Starmer
Authoritarian ban for your "convenience" is not the answer
been thinking about oliver tree all day
really tragic how this seems to keep happening
i hope that everyone keeps him alive by continuing to create
be weird, be crazy, be fully yourself
it was always such a joy having @olivertree on #genius ❤️🩹
the singer's talent, artistry, and overall kindness will be deeply missed. 🕊️
we are sending our condolences to his family and loved ones 🫂
He was the right kind of weird
Cared deeply about teaching people to love themselves. Staunch mental health advocate. Toured the world fighting against beauty standards $ tying self worth to them
A total goofball
Still torn up about it
RIP Oliver Tree
At 17 you can
Have consensual sex
Have a kid
Drive a car
Work a job
Vote
Donate blood
Join the army
BUT you CANNOT watch YouTube after your allocated government bedtime lmao
@kittygang_4ever@robynpologist@loopzoooop you wont be able to use yt on the tv without a mobile acc, which you will most likely need a age verified account for
also what if she doesn't have a tv, alot of people cant afford a licencse, cost of living also makes tv's unnaforable anyway
It feels bizarre to see someone that I was a huge fan of pass away so soon. While I'm not big on him anymore, his debut album and music in general did a lot for me during the pandemic, and I will forever cherish that.
Rest in Piece.
I used to play Xbox 360 late into the morning when I was in school. My parents found out and started turning the router off at night.
Amazingly they didn’t require a parliamentary majority and royal assent.
Before he died, Oliver Tree revealed that all his money would be going to charity upon his death instead of his family.
He established a charity foundation to support artists with his remaining fortune, wanting every cent to go toward helping people create new things.
"ugh, kids these days are so miserable"
well, when theyre awake to the world and realise how shit it is and then their government decide to ban them from the one thing that gives them a sense of community, its gonna make them miserable innit.
