@youngskales They won't do anything bcos those same Boys are their political machinery. They use them for grassroots mobilisation and election work, so they’ve made them completely untouchable. The govt is basically being held hostage by the monster they created.
I hope we never become too busy to notice ordinary blessings. A quiet morning. A working body. A peaceful house. A good meal. A familiar voice. Good sleep. Safe roads. Things we once prayed for without realizing it.

“ ‘Don’t vote for a Christian, we won’t give it to a Christian.’…. Who’re you to give it? Muslims don’t own Nigeria, we’re not tenants to the Fulanis,no Nigerian is more Nigerian than others. We own this country together. Politicians don’t own the nation, Nigerians own the Nation”
Bishop Oyedepo
My daughter had a miscarriage. Second trimester. Loss that nobody talks about. She came home from the hospital broken. Physically and otherwise. I stayed with her. Didn’t try to make it better. Just stayed. Cooked. Cleaned. Sat with her while she cried. Didn’t say it will be okay because it wasn’t okay and we both knew it. Just said I’m here. For as long as you need. She needed three months. Three months of her mother in her house. Doing laundry. Making soup. Sitting in the dark with her.
“Kwankwaso is working for Tinubu”.
“Tinubu used Dickson to trick Obi out of ADC.”
“The north will not vote for Obi.”
I agree with you. But can you tell me why you’re crying about something that’s supposed to make you happy?
I can never forget what my mum did when my auntie’s husband died.
He was from Ugwaji, Awkunanaw, Enugu South LGA. He died in the hospital from acute myocardial infarction at just 55. My auntie was only 40, with three children—two boys and a girl.
Immediately after he died, my auntie called my mum.
My mum told her, “Don’t inform his family yet. I’m coming.”
My mum went there, dragged my auntie to her house and told her, “Dry your tears. Focus. Bring out all your husband’s land documents and car papers.”
My auntie brought everything and handed them to my mum. My mum took the documents home.
Then they went back to the hospital, and my auntie informed her in-laws of their brother’s death.
These people didn’t even wait for the burial.
While my auntie was still at the hospital transferring his body to the mortuary, they went behind her back, entered her house and ransacked the place looking for the documents.
They didn’t find anything.
So they came to the hospital and started harassing her, demanding to know where her husband’s documents were.
My auntie told them her husband had taken a huge bank loan, which was why there were so many documents.
They believed her.
After the burial, my auntie contacted a solicitor, sold her husband’s properties and used the money to relocate to Canada with her children.
Till today, I remember what my mum did that day.
She understood something my auntie was too heartbroken to understand at that moment: when a man dies, some people don’t see a grieving widow—they see property.
My mum made sure the documents were safe before the vultures could get to them.
Information reaching us is that it was the Borno state government that ordered for the arrest of the youths who wore “TINUBU MUST GO” shirt and cap in Borno state.
The Borno state government should know that Tinubu will start losing the election from Borno.
Tinubu must go!
@sheilatebra "Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!" Deuteronomy 5:29 NIV
@sheilatebra God’s boundaries around sexual purity were protecting the covenant, the family, and the generations that would come after us. What feels restrictive in the moment can be God’s wisdom guarding what He intends to preserve.
We laughed when the Bible said, “Run from sexual immorality.”
Now a whole generation is being raised in broken homes, born from broken vows.
God wasn’t trying to kill the vibe. He was trying to kill the curse. But we didn’t listen…
