@GovAbbott #HB547 is not an equal access bill because it allows a district to choose/deny access to a private school student.
Secondly, this bill is blatantly discriminatory toward disabled and special needs students who are not part of the public school system. #veto

And the #txlege Senate has just voted to advance another bad bill, #HB547 allowing UIL participation by home-schoolers despite their being held to different (and unenforceable) standards than #txed public ed students. Bill passed to third reading by a vote of 16-14.
