We started the day with an inter-flight drill competition 🫡

Great to see consistent improvement across all cadets over the course of the week - always a great opportunity to strive for standardisation and dispel myth and rumour!

Whilst the ☀️ weather was a bit warm for the planned exercise to take place - the air conditioned bowling alley was a perfect way to end our penultimate full day on camp 🎳

Started off with some drill - final polish ahead of tomorrow morning’s inter-flight competition! 🫡

Now a lesson on camouflage and concealment 🌲

We rounded off the day with some free time spent at the amazing Junior Ranks facility - featuring Flt Lt Buxton’s karaoke machine 🎤 🎶

…and yes - he did have a go; and yes - there is video evidence!

We were out for most of the day at Adrenalin North Yorkshire for abseiling and high ropes. Everyone challenged themselves and had a fantastic time!

We ended our time at Adrenalin with a Jacob’s ladder challenge which saw three cadets from each team working together brilliantly to meet their objective 🪜

Tuesday was completed with a Battle PT session delivered by the PTIs at @RAF_Leeming 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♂️ with a quick drill session before dinner ahead of Friday’s competition…

Following an inspection by the Station Discip - we’ve headed over to the @RAF_MRS for a briefing on their role ⛰️

Rounded off a busy morning with a visit to RAFX - the RAF’s innovation hub - for a STEM session coding using @SpheroEdu

Excellent visit to @11SqnQEAF to round off the working day - great to hear about their unique role training QEAF and RAF fast jet pilots and to have a look around one of their Hawks ✈️

So far we’ve had a welcome brief from Gp Capt Hamilton with some fantastic Q&A from our cadets - onto a visit to the resident RAF Regiment Squadron for information on their role.
