Our pipeline threat is gone for now, but the natural gas industry continues its desperate moves.

High time this darn pipeline goes away, is finished, done for, over, finis, forever, def NOT left waiting in the wings. (Can’t blame CPLLC for asking, but — “NO!”)
Check out the most recent documents posted in the SCC docket to see the arguments. https://t.co/Hj95VTTLZO
We typically focus on CPLLC. But this morning’s victory against the MVP is a sweet win, an example of what it can take to defeat an unwanted gas transmission line in Virginia:
HUGE NEWS❗ The 4th Circuit ruled that Mountain Valley Pipeline's risks to #EndangeredSpecies were not adequately analyzed by US Fish and Wildlife, and invalidated two key authorizations. This follows MVP's recent loss of another federal permit. #NoMVP

There is more we can do. The legislature is in session and energy law is on the table. Weigh in — it’s easy these days. @selc_org is our trusted partner.

Another win in the Virginia pipeline wars! Note this decision involves federal permits because MVP is an INTERstate project. CPLLC is an INTRAstate project, fully contained in VA, so it primarily involves state-level regulation and permits.

Solicitations from eminent domain attorneys are hitting homeowner and property owner mailboxes now. This is to be expected and says little about the viability of the pipeline. If you received one of these, you’ll likely receive a few more.
Thanks too for reminding us to ask to see solicitor’s permits should they come knocking, and that we really don’t want their BBQ. Not only do we have meeting spaces for high caliber presentations, but we have our own eagles. Great job, Eagle Team! 🦅
Deepest appreciation to Hanover Co Board of Supervisors and John Budesky, Co Manager, for having CPLLC answer to you and to this community this evening. We look forward to seeing their written responses to all our questions posted on your helpful website: https://t.co/Xo8AYceGnQ
Here’s the link you’ll want to view the Hanover Board of Supervisors asking questions of the pipeline on Wednesday, 1/12, at 6 pm. Will they show? Will they answer our questions? No bets here on CPLLC. https://t.co/W04J3gWzKk

Time to get creative! Register your opposition at the Hanover County Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, January 12. Make and bring a small sign (8x11) saying “NO!” to CPLLC. Fancy ain’t required.
