i’m not really understanding where this wave of raye hate has emerged from, but it can crawl back into the darkness that it belongs in whenever it wants to.

‘this music may contain hope’ by raye is one of the most beautifully crafted albums that has been released in a long time. the instrumentation is rich, lush and interesting throughout the entire album, the lyrics are poetic and feel like emotional gut punches, her vocals are divine and emotionally rich. the album cover is fascinating and ties into the lyrics of the songs in such a captivating way. my favourite songs are ‘i’ll overcome’, ‘fields’, ‘skin & bones’, ‘goodbye henry’, ‘i know you’re hurting’ & ‘nightingale lane’ but i love the whole record. i love you @raye, thank you for this impeccable record.
