❗ IMPORTANT
One of the worst things about my work is having to regularly deal with malicious impersonation, and I'm losing my patience.
This time, I am being impersonated by a scammer, who is contacting cycling brands in my name to receive free products, promising content in return. Obviously, this is not me.
I will only contact brands through my official social media channels, or the email address shown on my profile. I will never promise reviews in return for free products as I don't do paid reviews.
Any advice on how to deal with these situations is welcome. I've already contacted local authorities as the scammer provided a delivery address and phone number.
In case the scammer reads this, learn how to spell, and most importantly, I will find you. 👀

Any help or RT would be massively appreciated.💛
Patrick mentioned it multiple times throughout the season already, even recently on the podcast, including in the transfers podcast "this is my work: these signings and scoutings, so it would make no sense to shit on my own work". Those were his exact words.
He makes jokes about this throughout the season, it's plastered in the bio of his Twitter, Instagram. It's mentioned at the start of our Jumbo-Visma team previews. I somewhat believe it's general knowledge in the sport at this point, yet we purposely remind newer viewers every now and then with the (roughly) monthly mention.
There's a line between mentioning it every now and then, and trying not to annoy current listeners by saying the same thing too many times. That line is what we're trying to walk.
You're correct in saying that this podcast would've been a good one to remind people. But I believe we're doing it the right way.
