“They brought back GM Connected and you still complain!” Yes, because this isn’t a GM Connected Mode at all. It’s a single season online versus mode, which isn’t even remotely the same.

Dear EA Sports. You've really outdone yourselves. For once the community that you starved of a good product for over a decade, gets excited over the return of a mode that was in a game made in 2013. It took less than an hour to completely destroy all the hype that the trailer had gotten. A mode that has been the biggest demand of your fans for the last several years is brought back but stripped to the barest bones. You get 1 season and no Al controlled teams. Your game already makes trading difficult enough, and now you remove draft picks from the equation; it will be nearly impossible. This game mode will be nearly unplayable if you have less than 10 other people to play with, which very little people do.

Sure, the presentations may look better, but how much will that slow down the speed of things? Can you skip it? What about the on-ice product has that improved? Or will the same old LT hold and cross creases be the only reliable way to score again. For a game that prides itself on realism, sticks, players and puck phasing and glitching are far too common.

Stop recycling old game modes from decades in the past that were removed and branding them as new. Your game has lived off tradition. The tradition of yearly buys by users no matter how little changes were made. People buy new versions of games to experience the changes and improvements. They return to this game every year to not be a game behind their friends and to have the latest rosters. The Chel community is one of the most loyal ones in all of gaming, but the people have had enough.
A notice to other fans. Do Not buy this game. If you give them your money even with the minimal changes every cycle, they have no reason to continue to not change the game.
