Lo del #PSBlackout de finales de agosto me parece una soberana tontería si todos los que dicen estar tan en contra de la decisión de PlayStation no dejan de darles dinero de cualquier forma inmediatamente.

Una semana en la que no te conectes a sus servidores no va a cambiar nada si sigues pagando el PS Plus, el port de Call of Duty de turno y estás ahí el día 1 jugando a GTA VI en PS5.

Hay muchas opciones para disfrutar de los videojuegos fuera de esa marca, si quieres seguir apoyando a PlayStation con lo único que importa, que es tu dinero, genial, adelante, estás en tu derecho, pero no vayas después de indignadísimo con todo lo que están haciendo mientras al mismo tiempo pasas por el aro inventándote que no tienes alternativas.

Esto que vas a leer no es un comentario pesimista, sino realista:

Sony no va a dar marcha atrás con su posición de acabar con el formato físico, por mucho que protestemos las 24/7, recojamos firmas o hagamos huelga.

La única manera es atacar su bolsillo, pero es imposible poner de acuerdo a millones de personas para que tengan una caída tan grande en ventas como para replantearse la situación.

El ser humano es egoísta por naturaleza, tanto el consumidor como cualquier compañía. Los que no somos egoístas, los que no estamos pensando siempre en el dinero y en facturar más y más, somos personas excepcionales y muy mal vistas a nivel social. Somos señalados, incluso, como perdedores y fracasados, simplemente por pensar más allá de la billetera en un contexto de vida adulta.

De todas formas, podemos seguir manifestando descontento a diario por lo que está pasando, demostrando nuestro amor al formato físico, comprándolo y exponiéndolo, pero esto no va a cambiar la decisión tajante de una empresa millonaria que solo mira por el máximo beneficio al menor coste, y eso es el formato digital.

Y en unos años, la próxima víctima será la consola física, no solo el videojuego. Está todo orquestado.

Por suerte, seguiremos teniendo en 2027 consolas que sí apuestan por el formato físico, pero la guerra contra esta política de Sony la perdió el usuario antes de empezar siquiera la batalla.

Creo firmemente en esto, aunque me veas posicionarme a favor del formato físico de Sony, pero siento que es una lucha en vano de manual.

Si estás batallando esto, hazlo sabiendo que no tendrá un final feliz, que no lo vamos a conseguir, pero al menos, tu posición se habrá hecho oír y puede que hayas despertado el interés por el formato físico en alguna persona ahí fuera, y eso ya habrá merecido la pena.
