I was watching a bunch of trailers for upcoming movies last night. It feels like Hollywood doesn't get it lately.

You cannot keep making movies/series targeted at niche audiences, spending 100s of millions, and expect huge profits. I'll just go play an indie video game instead.

I am trying to get back into photography and need a better, faster dock for my workflow. Unlike other docks, this one supports 10GbE, so I'd have that all the way back to my NAS! It has lots of other cool features, like a screen for workflow monitoring!

@Ntorkan @ElijahSchaffer 100%. Being a SAHM is a more than full-time job, not easy, many times monotonous and lonely, is not always rewarding, etc. Especially when the kids are young. Unfortunately, it's a job many people don't value these days. I have huge respect for the women who are SAHMs.

So yes, there are lots of crazies and creeps, but society has always had them. Today might be less dangerous.

@aloukissas @CalDigitSupport What kind of cables? I have found DisplayPort is another "standard" where not all cables are created equal. How good were the cables you tried? Which DP standard? What speeds were they advertised for?

I love how USB-C was supposed to be a universal standard, but there are different types of USB-C. There are USB-C cables that are "Thunderbolt Certified". And then, inside that, there are passive and active Thunderbolt cables. #ugh

@PcPhilanthropy GenX here. It was a .edu address around 1993, I think. I had to spool files to the VAX to attach them to emails. This was also around the time I was telnetting into a server in Australia, coding MUDs.
