Corps of Discovery from @offthepagegames is one of my favorite solo games from 2025 - if you haven’t picked it up yet, the current campaign on KickStarter is the best place to start. Expect a glowing review shortly on Player2!

@ianotooletweets Looks like my pile last time I got back from Japan 😅 definitely jealous of some of those, hoping they’re still in stock next April when I’m back over there! 🤞
The @Player2au Tabletop Gift Guide for 2023 is now live! This year, it’s focused on games for lots of players and easy on-boarding 😃 #boardgames#giftguide

Lovebird is a romantic social deduction game for 8-36 players, coming from Quokka Games, creators of Yum Cha and Boba Master - interested to see how this plays in person!

@DanThurot Great work as always - would love you to check out @WartideCCG to hear your thoughts - the designer taught it to me recently and it has echoes of A,L&S and Omen with some LCG characteristics too
So Australian distributor/publisher Meeple Games included the 2019 promos for Paladins of the West Kingdom from @garphillgames AND the three current promo packs for Quest for El Dorado from @ReinerKnizia in their printings - absolutely legendary publisher move right there 🙌
There are too many games. Designers, if you could please choose to:
1) Stop making good games
2) Make SUCH good games that all previous games are rendered redundant
Or
3) Make awful games I’d have no reason to buy
You’d save me a heck of a lot of trouble, thanks in advance 😃
Instead, In the Shadow of Atlas is a race game with lanes, each player pushing the most out of their turn and trying to ensure the game end triggers while they lead in points, something I’m still working on 😆

I’ve gone a bit down the rabbit hole with Small Box Games this year from John Clowdus and wanted to highlight one game in particular - In the Shadow of Atlas!
Clocking in at just 54 cards, this is a two player game full of tense decisions, chaining effects and my favorite, multi-use cards! Gorgeous art by @cobaltplasma caps everything off. At first blush it seems like another solid lane battler from Clowdus, but quickly pivots.
