Vulnerable Paws does so much for so many pets and people. Right now they're trying to help Nico, a 9-year old Staffie whose owner has died suddenly. All his bills are covered — he needs love and a couch.

I'm sorry. We have the worst news imaginable.
Bentley was doing so well the vet wanted to discharge him a day early. His blood & urine looked great. His kidneys were normal. 1/10

Bentley had a very good night and ate all of his breakfast this morning! Based on their tests, the vets think he ate something he shouldn't have, so they're busily flushing out his kidneys with IV fluids to get those numbers back down to normal and prevent any kidney damage.

A weekend involving two trips to the emergency vet is not a good weekend.

One of our lovely client dogs had to get injuries stitched up overnight; another collapsed earlier today and is still at the vet, awaiting an EKG.
The cost adds up to $3000…and counting.

With our ordinary expenses already scraping the bottom of the financial barrel, our volunteers have been paying for veterinary expenses out of pocket—and this is way more than we can absorb.

No Surrender is down to two drivers, and fantastic and long-suffering as they are, we're wearing them out.
Can't foster, but love animals and what we do, and have access to a car?

take pets into and home from foster
facilitate visits between pets and owners
drop food and other supplies to fosters and to our partners, such as food banks
take pets to and from booked vet appointments and
take pets to and from emergency vet appointments (rarely).
