Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose!

Meadowbank isnt fit for purpose . We are not anti ECFC we are against current form Meadowbank and the terrible deal we have from the Council/Edinburgh Leisure

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

A better Meadowbank means

-Better Matchday experience
- New supporters attracted to the club
-Current fans wont drift away
-Better atmosphere
-New sponsors and potential investors
-More money for the club

Only positives can come from making improvements to Meadowbank

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@Cowden81 @EH7Citizen So do I sadly. We got very fortunate last season with getting Brora

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@Cowden81 @EH7Citizen 100%

We may have beaten a couple of club 42s after but if we would've never got out that league post Covid

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@Cowden81 @EH7Citizen Even ya Musselburghs, Tranents etc do. So do Haddington etc. We are extremely fortunate to be where we are and weve done it through hard work

Let’s not kid ourselves on here.

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@EH7Citizen Crowd given as 158. No chance. Na. Not having it

[🤪 @EH7Citizen]

70 max in attendance at meadowbank tonight

not fit for football fans. it’s clear that this is the case.

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

Horse n Groom in Streatham early 00s was like a war zone on a Friday and Saturday night

Special mention to "Porkys" just around the corner from it. Absolutely wild gaff. Doorman got shot there one night and everything

Intrigued to see, what is the roughest pub you’ve ever been in?

We'll see our team progress tonight from the Fence overlooking Meadowbank

[SPFL @spfl]

Who will progress from the League Phase? 👀

KDM Evolution Trophy MD6 ⏭️

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@rober88912 Yep. Sadly

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

Tomorrow night at the Fence

7.45pm

Let your voices be heard. The Council and Edin Leisure need to let us improve things at Meadowbank or it will kill our club quickly.

Set ticket money aside and use it on club merch or towards sponsoring a player so club dont lose dough

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@Alvin01314014 Theres nowhere to build in Edinburgh and it'd cost the club hundreds of thousands weve already looked at other possible alternatives and none feasible.

We aren't asking the council to use public funds we haven't said that once..
Goodbye 👋

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

Word!!

[🤪 @EH7Citizen]

how can a ground rented out for hyrox on match days be deemed fit for purpose by Edinburgh Leisure or the SPFL.

all we want is to be able to watch our team and create an atmosphere at a ground that is up to standard.

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@Stefmccluskey My pal picked it in our little joint betting thing we got going on

Glad he did 😃🏇

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@SimePanini Theres also a younger group of fans as well that have passion and want to help progress the club and the matchday experience at Meadowbank. Not an Ultra group I may add.

As for one of those middle aged men pissed from The Hoppy.......

Yes im one of them.......

[🤪 @EH7Citizen]

@SimePanini @NoToMeadowbank simple. work with the shite hand that’s been dealt with and make it a far better matchday experience.

in its current state, it’s a morgue and attracts absolutely nobody. you can’t grow a football club in its current state. city fans shouldn’t be accepting this.

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@SimePanini Barriers need to be put out i mean but they are already stored at Meadowbank .We can put them out on a matchday and put back afterwards to clear the Athletics track etc so we aren't causing any obstructions to others that use the facility

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@SimePanini Barriers behind goal so we can gather and create an atmosphere. Those barriers are already there. Safety officer needs to allow it though. We want proper club branding on a Matchday on the turnstiles so people know theres an actual game happening there and who plays there 1/2

[Meadowbank- Not fit for purpose! @NoToMeadowbank]

@SimePanini Proper segregation as safety issues have been created in the past especially when certain clubs supporters are in town. Club branding around the perimeter which can be removed after kick off. Reserved seats for ST holders for those that dont want to stand so they can sit together
