FWIW my general approach is largely ignoring context in favor of emitting events that update the atoms and our consumers read only the derived state, they don’t access them directly.
Makes me wonder if context is going away for stores / machines?
@DavidKPiano question, if you don’t mind.
I am integrating xstate/store into an application, using stores & atoms & I’ve hit a point where I am transitioning to xstate proper.
Is there pattern for managing atoms? I know I can convert stores but not all atoms are store owned
I’m happy forging new patterns and what not. It’s more that there are now too many different ways of getting state (xstate, context, actor subscriptions, store subs, store emitted events, machine emitted events, and atoms)
@MaryAnastasiaOG This article is full of useless and baseless claims. I would consider it libel. You are making comparisons to South America that are both undoubtedly twinged with racism and - let’s be real here, he’s running for mayor not national office! - false claims with no substance
@paulg Your peers are the reason he managed to get re-elected to begin with. They all kissed the ring. I wonder if next time you see Altman if you will hold him accountable for not pushing back
@_alice_evans have to ask cause I want find it. Didn’t you write a book on the history of patriarchy?
I am looking for it after hearing you on a podcast but for the life of me the links don’t work and I can’t find it via Google or Bing, for that matter, DDG also bust
@LadyDevann@ruckus_games Amazing! Lucky to have you they are! Miss you as part of the Fallout 76 community but I am so happy to see you have another great opportunity!
@paulg@JeffMcSweeny They did tell them though, and Coinbase is trying to hide behind the idea that the SEC rules were unclear somehow, despite decades of existence of these rules and other financial entities not making such claims.
Not sure how Coinbase doesn't know what everyone else does
