When you look at the SCALE of people participating today, the incidents of illegality a person can count on one finger. The movement and government worked well together to focus on bigger point of citizen voices.

Good faith engagement means you disown the portions of movement not aligned with you. Dishonest engagement is when you pretend these groups don’t exist. You attack the observers for calling out the danger, rather than calling IN to movement. This is the complexity you own.

I have a problem when movements want to pick and choose what they are. A protest/march is not illegal. A demand is not illegal. Violence and looting is illegal. Violence and looting has happened with people who claim you. You own all of this complexity. And…
