We are entering an era of twitter posts about "fucked up proportions" and pointing out exaggerated features in stylized artworks. This was done literally for composition, if the quills were normal the artwork would not look half as cool as it does because of the hand positioning

@super_ult Crazy Taxi is a popular franchise but nowhere near as popular as sonic, it didnt even get a single game in almost 2 decades

They prob dont have much planned for Sonic this year, so theyre just rereleasing Frontiers on Switch 2 and thats it, not a big deal
