Free agent guard Tyus Jones has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Denver Nuggets, sources tell ESPN. Jones played a reserve role after joining Denver on the buyout market last season, and enters his 12th NBA season as his agent Kevin Bradbury of LIFT Sports Management completes an agreement with Nuggets officials.

Swain was often a sleeper name mentioned by real diehard NBA Draft fans for his first two years of college at Xavier, due to his size on the wing, defensive ability, and flashes of offensive ability in transition. After Sean Miller left Xavier for Texas, Swain decided to follow him to Austin. Swain fully broke out offensively this year, and those occasional offensive flashes at Xavier turned into who he was all the time. He was a primarily on ball player for the Longhorns, blowing away prior career assist numbers. The defensive impact dwindled, but the offensive game exploded. If he can combine these skillsets or translate this on ball success to the NBA level, the upside is tremendous. Given how questionable he still is as a three point shooter, if the defense doesn’t come back and he can’t play on the ball in the NBA, it is fair to be left wondering what role he is left having.
