This is fantastic for Tottenham. Spurs needed a bidding war, and one that's already higher than the suspected £45m sale price will make the sale of Bergvall much easier to live with. Been one of my favorites, but if we are shifting towards experience - it's for the best.

@yiddobali It’s not a terrible price, but still more than I would think we’d have to pay. But hey, it’s not our money, so in the end - I say do it!

£65m is A LOT of money for a player that has produced very little output since he got to City. Elite dribbling and progressing, but lacks the decision making and finishing to be considered elite. Only 22 so plenty of time to grow, but it’s a risky deal that could pay off.
