Been quietly building @aaruHQ's new design system and porting it into code over the past week. Components built on @base_ui, one at a time, all living in our own custom "storybook".
Started with the Figma tokens, ended up fine-tuning everything in code, as colours and type just render differently in the browser.
Now testing patterns and moving into layouts. Honestly the biggest unlock for design handover I've had in years.
Next up: documenting each component's usage for agent use. Recommendations welcome.
My old roommate owns a car detailing shop and tracked everything manually. Spreadsheets, mental math, guessing how the month was going. So I built him a sales dashboard.
The one thing that mattered most: a booking counts the day it's added to the calendar, not the day the car gets serviced. Booked vs realized revenue. Most tools get that wrong. I built this one around it.
What it does:
• Log a booking in seconds, tag the service, tag the lead source
• Real time view of booked vs realized revenue, ROAS, cost per customer, average ticket
• Ad spend tracking by platform (Meta vs Google) with daily budgets and lead counts
• Calendar view shaded by how much got booked each day
• Target tracking that projects if he'll hit the month at his current pace
• Fully mobile, installs to his phone like an app
Been live 2 months. He runs the business off it daily. Numbers in the demo are dummy data.
Built with Next.js and Supabase.
@hassaanraza@tavus Product designer who ships in code and has been following what Tavus is building. Would love to be in that room. https://t.co/g3jwtE4SkI
Been quietly rebuilding No. 2 while it stayed live on the App Store
New history tab grouped by day, full UI facelift with new design system, and a glass shrinking nav. Whole thing feels like a different app.
