Every day I wake up, I’m proud to be living in the greatest country in the dadgum world… but today feels a little different. I’m thinking of the brave men like my Daddy who fought to protect the ideals that our founders envisioned for the United States.

I’m thinking of the women who stepped up to the plate to help build, protect, and defend this country. Just like my Momma who flew a plane during the Second World War in the Civilian Air Corps.

I’m thinking of the men and women in uniform and their families who are serving right now to make sure that folks back home have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I’m feeling pretty dadgum thankful to be an American. Happy 250th Birthday to the greatest country in the history of the world.
