They were kinda the same, her family didn’t want her or they just wanted her when it was for their own gain. This is why they understood each other.

Historia smiled at that, was a simple gesture but it meant so much to her even if no words were spoken.

Ymir gave a solemn nod, she never had a family of her own, a tragic circumstance that came with its own sorrow, but never having a home also meant she never had to deal with the pain of losing it. She couldn't imagine what it felt like.

There wasn’t much to tell, no one really wanted her unless it benefited them, she doesn’t have any family left. Once person cared about her, Historia may have forgotten for awhile but she remembers now

She eyes looked to Historia, they never really talked that much about her family, given what Ymir heard it didn't exactly seem like a pleasant situation. Yet apparently there was one relative she had a positive relationship with.

Historia was playing with the orphans and listening to what stories they were telling her, the sound of a familiar voice brought a smile to her lips.

“In here Ymir.”

She said greeting the taller woman when she entered the room, some of the children would give her a wave

The brunette opened the gate and walked into the grounds. Closing behind her back, a half turn and she steps to the orphanage building.

Knowing the way inside, guessing in what room the blonde would be in. A few children passed by, she greeted them with a wave and a light &&.

This was how Historia sent most of her days whenever she had been relieved of her duties. The children always brought a smile to her

She knew that Ymir was coming to met her and of course she would know where the blonde is, that’s why she left

By the time it was now, Ymir guessed where she could be. Thus, she headed there. To the orphanage.

Soon, the dirt road appeared in front of her. And she could walk the way till the entrance, where she tried the front gate. &&.

It goes by too fast, she wasn’t looking forward to head back and do

She was finally done with her duties, glad to be over. Historia’s was paying a visit to the orphanage waiting for Ymir

Time was sadly up already. Tasks breathing on her nape, Ymir wouldn't risk not being able to catch up with her later.

She waved one last time. With Historia's last words making her heart beat hard.

Hours felt long afterwards, but the promised time was finally there.

Historia looks over at Ymir and sees that shes glowing, or at least to her it looks like she is. It really is a beautiful sight,

“I’ve seen a few places like this but I too didn’t think they would look this beautiful. My sister would tell me all about places like this.”

Ymir basks in the sight of the collage of light colors, blue, purple, pink, all surrounded and embraced by gentle verdant green.

"When I was a kid I thought places like this only existed in books."

Time was up already? Historia had a sad look in her eyes when she saw Ymir stand up

“Yeah, don’t make me wait too long. I will be ready for you.”

That made her blush but she liked the caress

A second to take in that sweet smile. Ahem. Ymir rushed the remaining tea of her own cup, and stood up.

“ Well, better head up now ! If I wanna catch up with you on time later. ”

With a caress on the blonde's crown of the head, she said bye for now.

It did seem that way sometimes but nothing can pull them apart, always find time for each other

“I know you will be, you are always on time when we make plans.”

The blonde returned the smile, almost beaming.

Times were sure hectic and pretty busy for them. It was no fun. It seemed like they tried to pull them apart.

“I like the sound of that, it’s been awhile since we hanged out. Drop by after your errands.”

It was a pleasant moment there. She leaned against her back seat.

“ That sounds nice. Maybe we can hang out later. I got some errands to do too but then I'm free. ”

“I wouldn’t do that and ok, I want you to be comfortable, you need to relax just as much as I do.”

She said with a smile living her cup to her lips.

“I have a little more work to do but after that I have the rest of the day to myself.”

“ I'm sure. Relaax. I don't dislike tea, and consider me dement if I ever refuse you a cup. ”

With that said, she finished taking another sip. And placed it down. Looking at her.

“ What are your plans for later, by the way ? ”

She feels lucky to see a side of Ymir no one else would ever see,

Historia took a deep breath, the the smell of flowers and nature filled the air

Despite the many lengths she goes through to try to hide it, she really is a princess at heart.

She raised her gaze up, looking at the horizon ahead to see the wonder of nature that awaited them.

She should be use to the pet names by now but they still make her blush, but only when Ymir uses them.

“Are you sure? Please don’t force yourself to drink it if you don’t like it.”

The pet name came out just so natural, not expecting something equal in return. Blinking away the light surprise, but if it was her; Ymir smiled to it.
