@MobilePunch She's suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. She's still in love with her oppressor.
Has the man committed an offense? Yes. Then, the law takes its course; the opinion of the girl is immaterial
At the wedding I attended yesterday, the pastor allowed the bride to compose & take her own vow words contradicting the usual marriage vows.
The part "for better or worse..." was missing.
Her vows says "... I will be with you in good health & in wealth for the rest of my life."
This happened when I was an undergraduate. I was reading in my room when I felt sleepy. I slept off with the light on & windows wide opened. Armed robbers came into the hostel that night & robbed everyone in each room but they didn't enter my room. I was the only one not robbed.
She didn't vow to be with the groom in trying times like financial down times & bad health.
When any of these situations surfaces in their marriage, she can't be accused of not being a good wife, because she never promised him to remain with him in bad times.

Here is the lady from the Joy Soap advert in the 1980s and 90s, radiant, admired, and unforgettable, yet now aged and transformed, looking completely different.
Her story whispers a timeless truth: beauty fades, applause dies, and nothing lasts forever, but the seeds of kindness, character, and legacy are what truly endure.
@Bayo_Bilisi Obi said Nnamdi Kanu did no wrong? The man who on radio asked his listeners to call in to report the number of policemen they've k!lled or police stations burnt. The same man who ordered sit-at-home & closed down businesses in SE & ordered shoot-at-sight of whoever disobeyed
@PeterObi Politicians are just the same & pathetic! This man who failed as a governor is blaming the opposition for the very thing he is. When they get to power they do the same or worse. PO go & sit down! You're not better. Besides, govt isn't allowed to interfer in football matters
