@realDonaldTrump Thanksgiving is about gratitude, not grievance. America was built by immigrants, strengthened by diversity, and sustained by the rule of law not by insults, exaggerations, or collective blame. We can discuss border security without trashing entire people.
A friend called me yesterday and said he needed money for dinner. I said okay and sent him ₦50,000.
The next morning, he called me again saying there was an emergency, something urgent came up, and he needed ₦20,000. He promised he would pay me back and everything.
I reminded him, “Bro, I sent you ₦50,000 last night.”
He said, “Ahh, yes. But that one was for dinner. I spent it on dinner. I didn’t know this emergency would come up.” 😭😂
I was just marveled.
So ₦50k was successfully allocated to dinner, and the emergency came with a separate budget? 😂
My friend told me a crazy story about his landlady. His landlady sells a bag of pure water for ₦500. One day, some people came around selling the same bag for ₦400, so he bought five bags from them.
The landlady saw him and got furious.
“Why are you buying from them instead of me?”
He simply replied, “Because they sell it cheaper.”
She was seriously offended.
Then, when it was time to renew his rent, she increased it by ₦1 million. 😂
If I helped you when nobody wouldn't, the only thing u owe me is the respect of someone who believed in you and helped when nobody wouldn't.. Hold me on a higher level than normal, especially if deep in your heart you know I didn't need you for nothing...
Life becomes exhausting when you keep measuring your progress against someone else's timeline.
Someone gets married at 25.
Someone has children at 28.
Someone becomes wealthy at 35.
Someone starts over at 40.
And you begin to feel like you're behind.
But you're not running their race.
Some people are ahead financially but struggling emotionally. Some have beautiful families but feel trapped. Some look successful but are drowning privately. You only see the chapter they are willing to show you.
Stop comparing your behind-the-scenes to someone else's highlight reel.
Build your life at a pace you can actually sustain. There is no universal deadline for becoming who you're supposed to become.
One of the hardest truths about life is that you can make more money, but you can never make more time.
You can lose money and earn it again.
Lose a job and find another.
Lose an opportunity and create another one. But the years you spent worrying, waiting, procrastinating, or trying to impress people will never return.
One day, you may realize that the things you thought were urgent weren't important at all. So don't spend your whole life building a future you never get to enjoy.
Work hard, but live too.
Save money, but make memories.
Plan for tomorrow, but don't sacrifice today completely. Because eventually, tomorrow becomes yesterday
The ₦1,000 Daily Decisions That Changed Someone’s Life”
A lady decided to save ₦1,000 every day.
Some people told her it was too small.
But she continued.
After years of discipline, that small daily decision became capital she used to start a business. The amount was not the magic. The consistency was.
Things I Wish Someone Told Me About Money Earlier.
1. Looking rich is expensive.
2.Being wealthy is usually boring.
3.Compound interest rewards patience.
4.Your first investment is discipline.”
@ubifranklin1 this is a very interesting business idea today, and I must say, the thinking behind it is brilliant.
Instead of chasing only traditional investments, the idea is to invest in grassroots businesses that already serve everyday people. businesses with real customers and real cash flow.
It shows a deep understanding that wealth can be built by backing good operators, creating systems, and owning pieces of businesses that solve daily problems.
You’re missing the entire point of mass-market economics.
Nobody said ₦50,000 will rent a shop and build a restaurant. Many mama puts already have somewhere they operate from. ₦50k can increase their stock, buy ingredients and give them additional working capital.
And comparing a mama put to Hilda Baci’s restaurant makes no economic sense. Different customers, different overheads, different business models.
The money is in volume. Help a small trader turn ₦50k over several times and you’ll understand why Nigeria’s mass market is one of its biggest economic opportunities.
Too many illiterates on twitter.
People underestimate Nigeria’s mass market. As of December 2025, about ₦5.4 trillion in physical cash was outside the banking system — roughly 95% of currency in circulation.
The real opportunity isn’t always in selling expensive products to 100,000 people. Sometimes it’s selling a ₦1,000–₦5,000 product to 20 million people repeatedly.
Nigeria’s informal and lower-income mass market is enormous. Small money × millions of people × high transaction frequency = very big business.
If I had ₦500,000 to invest today, here's exactly how I'd split it:
₦200,000 → High-yield savings / Money Market Fund (12–18% yearly) Steady returns + easy access to cash.
₦150,000 → Dividend stocks (15–25% potential annual return, including dividends and price growth) Focus on quality companies that pay consistently.
₦100,000 → Equity Mutual Fund (Long-term growth: 15–30%+ annually, though returns vary) Perfect if you want diversification without picking individual stocks.
₦50,000 → Emergency fund Not every investment should chase returns. Liquidity is an investment too.
The goal isn't to get rich overnight. The goal is to build wealth consistently.
How would you invest ₦500,000 today?
Years ago, I started putting aside a small amount every month.
My friends laughed and tried to discourage me saying I should use the money and buy suya because the money looked too small to matter.
While others spent everything they earned, I focused on building assets.
10 years later, the small investments had grown into something meaningful.
The lesson?
Your future is not built by one big financial decision. It is built by thousands of small decisions repeated consistently. That 10k, 5k really matters and the best time to start is now.
EFCC found 100s of thousands of dollars in Jude's North side Music account and told him to account for it. He said the money was generated through his Artist Cynthia Morgan, D same Cynthia that Jude said the only money he made from her music is just 3k dollars.
