@Knightly_Hist Yeah they have a few variants as well. The small ones you have shown and a larger version as well.

The Daigre armor is also featured in a new WW1 game called Over the Top: WW1 for the armored class. Currently has the large variant over the smaller version.

Zouaves were also type of French Light Infantry formation whose roots are descended from North Africa, specifically from Algeria.

All the pictured soldiers are Zouaves from the US Civil War, but they were very similar to French Zouaves.
