Nightmare scenario

Having to ask my wife for money to pay bills. For a few months now, she has had a separate bank account because I drained ours to cover margin calls but I’ve now drained my own bank account to the point that I don’t have enough to cover bills. So now I have to see if she can transfer money to my account to pay the bills about to hit because these markets aren’t recovering enough for me to get out of margin call and put money back. Exhausting stuff. Everyone is getting wiped.

@elle_a_w @JessicaHuseman It is far easier to travel with young children if you stay somewhere with a kitchen and a living room. It's also nicer if you are doing an extended stay somewhere because then you can cook a little bit if you don't want to eat out for every meal

@lymanstoneky Chores are by nature hard to notice. Your spouse is doing much more for the household than you think, much of it invisible. This is true for both husbands and wives.

@mrscaew No idea haha. No cons that I saw! I started piano at age 8 and by about 11 I was pretty independently motivated to practice. I have been doing this with my kids and it seems good so far, they get pretty excited when they get 5-6 songs from the end and start pushing
