@RolloRouen The difference is that America has half a dozen big cities, and dozens of mid-sized cities, and then bazillions of small towns. We have like 3 big cities, half a dozen mid-sized, and then bazillions of small towns.
@ariklus1@ruicharadrius Wrong, they are ethnically Australian Aboriginal, not Australian. The concept of Australia did not exist until white British people built it, and in the last hundred-or-so years, ethnogenefied from the British.
Also top-left is obviously mixed.
@kermiszk@ruicharadrius Line up four identically dressed people, 3 UK-born and raised, 1 Aussie, and I hypothesise people can spot the Aussie above chance levels. Aussies have a distinct look, a distinct culture, and distinct traditions.
@PinkWiddlePubby@ruicharadrius Australian here!
No. Aboriginal Australian is an ethnicity, AND Australian is an ethnicity. Though Aboriginal Australian should probably be broken up more granularly because an Arnhem Land aboriginal is not the same as a "naarm" aboriginal.
@ruicharadrius Interesting. So, are Germans and Frenchmen the same ethnicity then? How about Scots and English? Or Danes and Swedes? Zulus and Xhosa? All of these peoples have very similar genetic profiles, similar hair, skin and eyes.
@ruicharadrius Well, shit. I guess we're all actually ethnically African. After all, our ancestors come from Africa. I'm booking my ticket to Rhodesia as we speak!
@Konton1401@ruicharadrius you have a much more granular definition of race than I do then. By this standard, Dutch people are a different race than Flemish people!
@ruicharadrius Wow its almost like we are culturally and ethnically distinct from Brits then, huh? We separate ethnic groups based on far less than that!
No, I am Australian, not European. I have European ancestry, but I am indigenous to Australia. I was crafted here, not Europe.
@ruicharadrius Isn't brown hair in Asians usually much darker though? I most definitely have brown hair but its significantly darker than Light's (except my beard which is slightly reddish)
@ruicharadrius "India doesn't have a caste system you bloody bloody!"
'Oh look, here's a Dalit now! Say hi!'
"Eugh, as if I would ever touch you!"
(Side note, they also take the caste system overseas when they emigrate)
