Lol 😂😂
Read the Boruto databook. It explicitly explains why Mamushi was able to perceive Eida there's a reason he was called "Bug."
The problem is that you never put an effort to understand the manga, yet you talk like scholars on it.
Another reason Boruto’s power scaling and worldbuilding feel inconsistent is its sensory scaling.
When you introduce god-tier characters, you need to establish a clear ceiling for their perception and sensory abilities, then remain consistent with it. You can't keep changing the rules whenever the plot demands it.
Take Jura and the Shinju. After they awakened and gained consciousness, Mamushi was suddenly able to perceive the person using Omnipotence, and he was even surprised that Mamushi could perceive her as well. Before that moment, nobody could detect her at all. The story suddenly gave one character an entirely new level of perception without clearly explaining why or how. That isn't consistent worldbuilding.
Naruto handled sensory abilities with a much clearer progression. We saw the evolution from ordinary sensory ninja, to elite sensors, to Naruto eventually transcending normal perception through Sage Mode and Six Paths power. He could sense invisible chakra across enormous distances, detect negative emotions, and even perceive Madara's Limbo clones—beings that existed on another plane of existence that ordinary people couldn't even register. That's what you'd expect from god-level perception.
The series also established advanced surveillance very early on. Back in Part 1, the Third Hokage was able to observe Naruto and others throughout the village using his crystal ball. That was decades before the Boruto era. It wasn't true omniscience, but it showed that perception and observation techniques had already reached an advanced level long before Eida's Omnipotence. If those abilities existed that early, it's reasonable to expect sensory capabilities to continue evolving rather than feeling inconsistent from one scene to another.
Yet in Boruto, we're expected to believe that characters who can supposedly perceive other dimensions or higher planes somehow cannot detect something as small as a shrunken chakra rod—or other concealed abilities—unless the plot specifically wants them to. That doesn't feel like logical progression. It feels like plot convenience.
This isn't just a Boruto issue in theory. In series like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Rimuru's awareness evolves alongside his power. In The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Anos can detect people observing or interfering with him across magic, dimensions, and other forms of perception. As characters reach divine levels, their awareness scales with them instead of fluctuating whenever it's convenient for the story.
Power scaling isn't only about attack potency or destructive capability. Awareness, perception, detection, and sensory abilities should evolve alongside a character's overall power. Once someone reaches a divine tier, those abilities should remain consistent instead of changing from scene to scene.
That's why Boruto's sensory scaling feels off to me. The rules seem to bend depending on what the story needs in the moment, rather than following the progression Naruto had already established years ago.
What do you think? Is inconsistent sensory/perception scaling one of Boruto's biggest issues, or am I overthinking it?

‘10 birthdays’??? Seriously, you people love exaggerating everything, don't you?
Naruto missed Boruto's birthday once or twice. Claiming a double-digit number just to paint Naruto as a terrible father and farm sympathy for Boruto is genuinely pathetic.
Interesting fact: When Boruto was 5, naruto became Hokage and stopped spending much time with his family. Based on the timeline, Boruto likely spent the next 10 birthdays without his father. (Except for one)

@SuperMario5687 Lol, I've been searching for it for three years and still haven't found that novel. I've seen that guy's videos and how he milks the hell out of that content.
And the funniest part? I found Shinden on Wattpad of all places. 😂😂
@SuperMario5687 You assumed I haven't watched the anime without any evidence, just like Hanabi assumed she knew the entire Uzumaki family situation from a single upset Boruto.
@SuperMario5687 Lol 😂😂😂 I'm not insecure about Naruto having flaws. I'm just tired of people judging others as if they're any better themselves.
I never said you're stupid, but I will consider you an idiot if you start treating Hanabi's ignorant judgment as the righteous one.
@SuperMario5687 Spare me the YouTube summaries. Give me the novel's title, author, and chapter. I've read every Naruto/Boruto novel and somehow this magical 'Japan-only divorce novel' doesn't seem to exist. 😒
@SuperMario5687 Just say you hate Naruto and move on. Hiding behind Hanabi's opinion
Hanabi isn't living in the Uzumaki household, paying their bills, or witnessing their marriage firsthand. She saw Boruto upset and made a judgment. Treating her opinion as absolute fact is peak stupidity
Lol
These people are always hyping a basic illusion technique
Because it's crazy in your verse doesn't mean it's crazy else where
They got their first taste of a man capable of using illusions
Now he suddenly solos the verse
#bleachscaling
Lol
They hyping up a zanpakuto
Because it's crazy in your verse doesn't mean it's crazy else where
They got their first taste of a blade capable of spiritual attack
Now it's solos everyone
Watch the goddamn show. Madara had already fused Hashirama's cells into his body you can literally see it in the picture. That's the only reason he didn't turn into stone.
You people and your stupid head canons.😭
Because those are two different forms of Sage mode....we don't even know anything about Hashirama's sage mode....but "Gama Senin modo" is very delicate
Kamui is an attack that either warps your body into another dimension or warps objects you choose into that dimension.
Watch the show properly. It's a space-time ninjutsu, not just an ninjutsu
Don't Truth-Seeking Balls negate ninjutsu? How could Kakashi create a hole in a Truth-Seeking Ball using Kamui, when Kamui itself is a ninjutsu? Hmm...Wtf is this bullshit?
Lol, why aren't you preaching the same thing to the other side (Bleach) when they're using the exact same language? 🤨🤨
People can pretend to be saints, but at the end of the day, the rules seem to change depending on whether something benefits them or works against them.
People still do "HATE" for other animes in big 26.... if you don't like an anime it's ok.... calling people retard for an obvious scaling in verses won't make your argument acceptable....blame the people who created the scale...don't insult people for mentioning the scale which you would agree to someone debate a Jjk to a Naruto character
