Today, the twice-impeached former White-Supremacist-in-Chief was arraigned, saw a judge, and went back home. Meanwhile, there are people being held in jails across our country waiting to see a judge just to prove their innocence. There are two justice systems in America.
Thank you, @lbergus for choosing to look beyond fear and embrace growth. We appreciate your tremendous efforts to re-envision public safety investments that will provide critical resources for everyone, and WE are ready.
Maybe I’m just being grumpy, but is anyone else irritated by LSUs coach and her wack outfits? I feel like she’s just taking attention away from her INCREDIBLE players … harumff
Kim Reynolds reacts to the Trump news.
Sidenote: Iowa House Republicans advanced a bill just today to limit the power of Iowa's only statewide Democrat in elected office.
I’ve run out of language to describe my disgust. What words can convey my horror that I can be TARGETED as a “groomer” for spending MY OWN $$$ to provide kids with basic hygiene supplies. Never mind the fear that my school could be the next target of senseless gun violence…
Super excited that the new Director of the Iowa Department of Education has (checks notes) ZERO experience in a classroom or a school of any kind. No, really, thanks to all of you who voted for Ms. Reynolds.

@AdamZabner So sad that while our state’s most marginalized kids face tremendous fear and discrimination just showing up to school every day,our senators yesterday can’t even muster up the courage to say NO to Kim. Sending energy to you today, Adam!
When @ZachWahls says, “Senator, kids are going to kill themselves because of this law”, how can ONLY 16 people vote against it!?!? Thank you, Zach. I’ve never been so fired up to get these *murderers* out of here.
Thank you @janice4iowa, for reminding Iowa’s senators that gender fluidity has been recognized in religious texts for 2000+ years. SF538 was never about “children’s safety” — it was always about a religious agenda. And a very hateful one at that.
He’s calling for the “eradication” of people. This is evil and dangerous.
This was in front of thousands at a Republican conference. Every person who believes that calling for the “eradication” of others is wrong must denounce it. There can be no “what he meant was” excuses.
It is obscene to me that we are cutting food stamps for 31 million people at a time when the top 0.1% of Americans own more wealth than the bottom 90%.
No one should starve in one of the wealthiest countries in the world.
Let's be clear: America's “moral crisis” isn't about pregnancies, contraceptives, or which bathroom people use.
It's obscene CEO pay, wage theft from workers, Wall Street gambling, money corrupting our politics, and the failure of those with power to serve the common good.
