@SportsPatriotUS Agree to with everything except the large settlement check. As pled, there does not appear to be a push for large damages. My asterisk is the attorney fees may be costly if they choose to fight rather than settle.
@MBastard2@redformansrep@Cernovich Interesting. I have an indirect view from the work I do. Last year i saw a lot of notices for bankrucpty and forelcosures. This year has been quieter. Maybe a regional thing. I'm in the Northeast.
@Cernovich LPRs, whether Flock/Axon/other are here to stay. They've been around for too long. Every patrol car has them mounted. Even if all cameras are removed, nothing stops a car from being parked on a street.
Life is fucking electric bro. Don’t fall for the doomer shit. Thats for losers and normies scared of their own shadows. Walk around like God sent you and smile at everyone you see. Spread light and abundance. Build things and take chances. This is the best time in history!
I’m waiting for the murder trial where a man claims he couldn’t control himself because of his high testosterone levels.
This would have been a joke 10 years ago. But now - why not?
Don’t get psyopped by a decade of losses that people tout on here. Even if there is a downturn it’s about 2-3 years if horrific, they end up printing anyway
Solution: always have enough to survive 3 years without selling anything equity related
The ballroom project is illegal, the dissenting justices say. The majority doesn't disagree; they just focus on standing. So the district court, the appeals court and four SCOTUS judges find it's illegal, but the law is unenforceable. https://t.co/j6gGxX0Lqt
@PjH56@joshgerstein Basically. Collins at least get political capital from her actions though. Roberts seems obsessed with the court appearing impartial. However, his performative impartiality is damaging the legitimacy of the Court imo.
@wizardosmosis@OliverBCushing Disagree. Pro se is getting lowballed. Engagement fees are negotiable. You can cap out fee percent for settlements at different points. Ie 5 or 10% off a demand letter vs 30% for trial. Can also do hourly billing.
The S&P 500 is up ~70% in five years. Do the math on your W-2. Are you up 70% on *POST TAX* money/income?
Yep. This is your sign to start escaping shawshank
And beyond estate planning, fund those 529s. Whatever you can afford. Don't listen to the naysayers. They either don't understand how 529s work or they are selling something. Vanguard or Fidelity or Schwab. Date-targeted 529.
