Government is still running like Zoom and Uber Eats never happened. Dr Mmusi Maimane questions outdated ministerial staffing structures and asks whether South Africa is funding a government designed for another era. #eNCA

“Once a person is educated they are no longer disadvantaged.” — Dr Boshoff (FF+) 26 May 2026
That statement fundamentally misunderstands how inequality works.
Inequality is not individual. It is generational. It is spatial. It is structural.
[Watch🎥] BOSA Deputy Leader @NobuntuSA passionately champions small businesses. She highlights the pressing need for job creation in South Africa, pointing out that out of every R100 spent by the government, a mere 12 cents supports small businesses expected to drive employment growth.
It's time to prioritise our entrepreneurs!

Today, on Africa Day, I’m reflecting on the privilege I had last week of speaking at the HER Economy Women Inclusion Summit on a subject deeply connected to the future of our continent: women, capital, ownership, and economic power.
As Africa continues to rise, we cannot speak about the continent’s development without speaking about women, not only as participants in the economy, but as leaders, owners, investors, decision-makers, and architects of the systems that shape it.
For too long, women have been invited into economies, systems, structures they did not design. Included in systems, but too often excluded from ownership, control, and real power.
African women have always sustained economies. Now we must also lead them, own in them, design them, and reimagine them.
Happy Africa Day. 🌍
@RGMcrusader Thank you so much 🙏🏽
I’m not sure I qualify as youth though 🫣 but I guess I am young at heart, so it’s all good.
But you’re right, active citizenry is the only way. As @NobuntuSA always says: “No one is coming to save us”. We must all rise & build the South Africa we want.
We have opened a case of fraud & corruption against the Gauteng Gambling Board CEO Karabo Mbele.
We have evidence against her on:
• Irregular allocation of R73m
• Improper disbursement of R23m
• Procurement irregularities
• Governance Breaches
Bramley Police Station 📍
To bastardise township economic development in a country where millions desperately need real economic opportunity is disgraceful.
Release the report. Account for the money. Stop looting the hopes of deserving South Africans.
An anonymous caller phoned into the show & exposed @FamilyTreeHold
Family Tree is a scam!
They, along with the @GautengDED have destroyed lives!
We demand the release of the investigation report into their shenanigans!
[Watch🎥] BOSA’s call for a publicly accessible National Register for Sex Offenders gains momentum. BOSA Deputy Leader @NobuntuSA emphasises that true functionality extends beyond political promises. It demands seamless digital integration, precise offender databases and an well resourced department to ensure public safety.

We call on MEC @VuyiswaRamokgopa to release the investigation report on the @GautengDED & it’s implementing partner @FamilyTreeHold
Former MEC @LebogangMaile1 played hide & seek on this matter, until he eventually left the department.
We ask the new MEC to do the right thing 🙏🏽
Eyensi isn’t even pretending anymore.
At least before, there was a little effort to act concerned while the country burned. Now it’s just open arrogance:
They protect their corrupt, defend failure, ignore the people.
Carry on…
Big changes on the cards for salary negotiations in South Africa
'The Fair Pay Bill' would prohibit companies from inquiring about a candidate’s or applicant’s current or past salary to determine their salary upon appointment.
It wants to ensure employees have the right to request and share information about the range of remuneration for the position in which they are currently employed, or for the position for which they want to apply.
.@NobuntuSA Is doing the Lord's work on our behalf.

Parliament has formally published the Fair Pay Bill for public comment, a 30-day window has opened for any South African to submit a written comment.
Public participation is not just encouraged in South Africa's law-making — it is a constitutional right.
When Parliament receives a high volume of submissions in support of a Bill, it sends a clear and powerful signal that ordinary South Africans are watching and that they care.

Today we honour a generation that fought not just for jobs, but for dignity, for rights, for the freedom to organise, to earn, and to be protected as workers.
In South Africa, Workers’ Day on 1 May commemorates the struggles of workers under apartheid: resistance, sacrifice, and the fight for justice in the workplace.
That generation fought for access.
Our generation must now fight for equity.
Because many South Africans today are in the workplace but face a system that reproduces disadvantage.
I’m proud to announce that the Fair Pay Bill, which I am sponsoring in Parliament in partnership with Pay Me Fairly, has officially been gazetted for public comment.
- No obligation forpayslips at hiring stage
- Salary ranges upfront
- Equal pay for equal work.
This is how we mark Workers’ Day.
What makes this Bill so meaningful to me is that it originates from the people. A champion Phathuxolo Maqavana, who because of his own experience, made it his life’s work to challenge unfair pay practices. We were in this way, commissioned by the people to take this forward and give legislative expression to something South Africans have been calling for.
This is democracy as it should work.
Nobody is coming to save us, but us.
