A 60 mph narrow single carriageway lane with no street lighting, no pavements, no mobile signal and is prone to flooding deemed a safe walking route to school.
If you think this is unsafe and Perton kids deserve safe school travel, please sign this petition and tell @Staffordshirecc the route us unsafe and parents should not be charged £625 for a bus seat. 2580 say it's unsafe. https://t.co/4bvKPZijyS
Calling all tweeters... are there any other groups you are aware of fighting councils on school transport other than our friends @MoorFor and @Nobuspass4bole ? Would be interested in joining up to cross tweet to provide mutual support 😀
As @StaffordshireCC refuses to listen to 2514 residents and force parents to pay £625 or Perton @codsallhigh kids walk an UNSAFE route, on Monday we will be highlighting the shocking amount of cash wasted instead of spending on residents. @ExpressandStar @kharrison_star
We now have over 5,000 signatures, please keep sharing :) 5,000 people are telling you this road isn't safe, come on Adam, see for yourself!

@BBCRadio2 We are also experiencing the same issues with school transport where the council expect our kids to walk on an extremely dangerous road with fatalities, and we are fighting for free transport on a bus that already runs, so no extra cost to the council at all @MoorFor
Please watch this video and sign our petition, as if the road isn't dangerous enough but this will be how dark it would be when the children left on their walk to school in the winter...

It's great to have the support of our Parish Council... here is Roger Lyle asking @adampaynter1 to walk the walk again
