Buying music is expensive compared to monthly subscriptions, but it's worth it. Support artists (especially smaller ones) and record stores directly. The audio quality and permanent access to it. It's made me more aware of what I listen to and I enjoy slowly growing my library.

I few years ago I decided to stop relying on music streaming platforms for the music I like most because of their business model behind and how frustrating is to lost access to songs or entire albums because geographic limitations.
