I try not to do politics in my lighthearted spaces, but as I interact with a community, these are my relevant politics
- I don't abide fascists (my sole discretion)
- I don't care what your ethnicity, race, culture or religion is if you are treating each other well
- I like women and don't tolerate misogyny in my spaces and will point out how misogynistic tendencies are linked to other abuses of power
- LGBT+ people are welcome in my spaces, those who make them unwelcome or not
- You have the right to do what you want with your body unless you hurt someone else
Anybody not matching the vibe is subject to removal. I don't care what your politics on taxes or business regulations are. Respecting human rights is non-negotiable.
Thank you
@goldballer24tv@Twitch Using something like the Aitum multi-stream plugin, I've been in the beta for a while doing it. Also makes it easy to send your vertical canvas elsewhere like YouTube
@MillsTwitch Go on the YouTube subreddit some time and you'll see many people catastrophizing about ads there as well.
Ads are less disruptive on recorded content than live, but I stream on YouTube too and hardly ever get comments about ads there
@mynxxvr Someone who understands short form content and storytelling, preferably editing as well, who knows how to pick out the key moments that make impactful clips. I want them to find the moments I might have missed that I can hand off to the editor and get a clip that performs
@eghostiex Bruh my narcolepsy meds too. My copay is supposed to be like $1k a month but the company has a coupon to make it $5. It's in their interest to get the insurance money so they usually have programs to help you bridge gaps like that
I take 24 hours off @X and other socials and come back to this beast of a discussion ๐คฃ
I don't even know where to begin in response to some of this, so I'll just summarize my thoughts:
- I'm not a fake nerd, I have a large retro/vintage computer collection that has been sitting for quite some time and I challenged myself to pull my stuff out of storage to get it organized and finish some old projects. It needed to be fun, so I thought adding some flair would help my content stand out.
- While I'm capable technically, I'm no where near @lauriewired or @EleonoraSayaka level. These ladies are HIGHLY skilled and deserve your respect. They demonstrate as much in every video. I went a different direction in my career and am very knowledgeable in a different field, but this is a passion for me because it's what I grew up around.
- I'm clearly not here or producing my content for money. If that was the benchmark, my channel is a massive failure ๐คฃ Any money I do make gets donated back to the retro computing community (VCF sponsorships or similar).
- There is nothing wrong with having fun with one's own content. If you don't like it, don't watch it, or tell the algorithm not to recommend my channel anymore.
- I like dressing cute and a touch sexy sometimes and there is NOTHING wrong with that. It's not for everyone, and that's ok.
- No, I am not a dude ๐คฃ
- Put simply, yes, I want my content to stand out because it takes time and effort to produce and it's fun to get it seen, but in my case, it's not about selling you anything or as a gateway to "OF" content. I'm doing this for fun ๐
- Don't hate on my fellow creators
@longbow6625@theSiliconSiren@X If this is radicalizing you against women, seek help. Genuinely. You should be able to handle seeing someone dressed this way without building hatred because of it
I did not expect this to be my main content game when I first played it on a whim, but it is such an adaptable open world that keeps giving great stories
3 million copies sold.
Thank you to everyone who picked Kenshi up, told a friend, created content, or clocked more hours than they'd care to admit.
To celebrate, we've got new Steam Avatars, an official Beep plush, and more.

@RageoftheMage To be clear, I'd never heard of the band and picked it up solely because I recognized the cover from here. So you may have introduced a new fan haha
@FRESHY_GG@sethfowIer I do challenge playthroughs of games and take an entire "season" of streams (about 50 hours worth) down to 4-12 hour condensed videos with the entire playthrough, additional editing, B Roll, voiceover, music etc.
@serena_parisss I think growth on Twitch comes more naturally to some types of creators. I have found I plateaued at a similar place. I encourage experiment with other content types in addition to Twitch, even if that means a little less time on Twitch. For me, long-form YT is looking promising
