They're likely pissed a majority liked the "wrong" character, that we liked Zul'jan instead of the 40 year old teenager, aka arator. More than certain thats why he was killed, and why they keep beating us over the head with "oh, hes DEAD"

@that_kind_oforc I think both are cool (i will take xal over baldy any day if the week), but yeah it wouldve done them better if we got some foreshadowing prior to. Some hints here, names there, etc

@that_kind_oforc Personally, i think after world soul saga we should tone down the cosmic manipulator stuff. Have cults pop up or rogue factions, with the antagonist being some... guy. Strong guy, takes-25-dudes-to-kill guy, but not millions year old alien soul in cadaver with master plan guy.

That and the premise isnt "more", its cool factor (from what i remember), and that it Kenpachi to his core: he gives zero fucks what awaits him AFTER battle, just the battle itself.
