@philmcnulty & your editors, please learn grammar! 'An' is used instead of 'a' when the following word starts with a vowel. Primary school stuff. Consistently getting it wrong in BBC articles sets 'an' wrong example to kids. "Henderson had an stoppage-time winner..." is wrong.
