@BBCMaryam Probably the last thing I will see on this platform. Thanks for making me chuckle many times! I'm still following you on BlueSky though, you'll be delighted to hear. And in the best possible way I will sign off with this: ๐๐
Rest in peace Johnnie Walker. A true broadcasting legend. A brilliant radio DJ and presenter. As a musical tribute I play one of Johnnie Walkerโs favourite songs: Will You Love Me Tomorrow.
Rest in Power Paddy Hill

RIP Johnnie Walker. A music presenter who actually knew and loved music deeply and fully understood the unique power of radio. A rare thing indeed. He will be missed.
@RalphMcLeanShow The one and only time I ever texted a radio show ... It was my 40th birthday, and the old JW replied to my message, wishing me happy 40th birthday over the airwaves. Made my day. But as you say Ralph, his musical knowledge was lightly worn, but unrivalled. RIP JW.
@tonyblackburn Listened to your Battle of the Pirates show with JW a few weeks back. The mutual warmth between you two, not to mention the mutual slagging, was just a joy to listen to. Two legends.
