Then the cost of labor increases (pay raises), and rent and home prices drop from the decreased demand. My family is Jewish, and last week, I sat on the DC metro next to a young lady wearing a pro-Hamas, anti-Israel t-shirt. You know what I did? Nothing. But then again, I'm not an unhinged leftist.

@EndWokeness I own a small apartment building, and am amazed at the damage our renters do and the utter lack of responsibility for the space they rent. Stopping owners from getting fair market rents so they have the money to maintain them, and then barring evictions, is a recipe for disaster.
