An Australian charity has sent more than $400 million in tax-deductible donations to Israeli groups including some that directly support the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).

Australian donors to the 'United Israel Appeal' have supported individual 'lone immigrant' IDF soldiers, technology education programmes for young people to make them “strong candidates for elite IDF units”, and illegal settlement expansion in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The charity has held tax deductible status in Australia since 1998, with annual donations doubling in 2023 to $74.4 million with the onset of the Gaza genocide.

Israel Official Warning: Cats and Dogs Burned Alive During Jewish Holiday of Lag Ba’Omer

Israel’s Ministry of Environmental Protection describes a “cruel phenomenon” in which, during the Jewish holiday of Lag Ba’Omer, “street cats and dogs are thrown into bonfires alive. Many of these animals are killed; others survive, but with burns and injuries all over their bodies.” The ministry urges the public to remain vigilant and keep pets inside during the celebration. Jared Kushner linked to Israeli-American brothers convicted of sex trafficking.

Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander - recently found guilty in a major U.S. sex-trafficking case - had their surname redacted in the Epstein files, despite claims from Kash Patel that the files contained no evidence of trafficking. Rep. Thomas Massie later exposed the names.

In December 2020, the brothers attended Donald Trump’s White House Hanukkah celebration. Oren Alexander wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post:

“Spare your political views. The president just served us kosher food in his house and wished us a Happy Hanukkah.”

Photos from the event showed Tal and Oren posing inside the White House.

Their links to Trump-world extended beyond parties. Oren Alexander brokered the $24 million Indian Creek mansion purchased by Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump in 2021.

The brothers were also fixtures in elite Israeli and American networks. Seven years ago, twins Alon and Oren celebrated their 30th birthday at the upscale Claro restaurant in Tel Aviv, with a guest list including Israeli billionaire Shari Arison and Donald Trump advisor Aaron Jordan.

They were also major donors to pro-Israel and Jewish organisations, including:

• Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF)
• United Hatzalah
• The Jewish Federation

German Court Shields Israeli-Linked Politician from Public Trial in Child Abuse Case

A German court chose to avoid a full public hearing in former Bundestag politician Hartmut Ebbing's child sex abuse case, citing concerns that exposure could harm his role as treasurer within the German–Israeli Society (Deutsch-Israelische Gesellschaft (DIG)). Instead, the case was handled through a criminal order, limiting public scrutiny.

Ebbing asked that his case be handled in the expedited procedure with a criminal order. He referred to the “modest prominence” that he had “at least in a certain Berlin bubble”. A main public hearing, he argued, would also be a serious blow to the German–Israeli Society if the allegations became known. Since October 7, Hebbing argued, such non-disclosure had become even more important to prevent harm to society. The district court allowed Ebbing’s request.

This resulted in a court decision that prioritised protecting reputation and institutional relationships with Israel over full transparency in a case involving the abuse of German children.

Albanese had submitted reports denouncing Israel's mass killing and ethnic cleansing. She also named US companies such as Google and Palantir who facilitated Israel's actions.

The ruling was made by senior DC judge Richard D. Leon who was appointed by President George W. Bush in 2002.

US sanctions are still active against European and Canadian ICC judges (the legality of which was not considered) and punitive measures against Albanese could be reimposed during subsequent hearings.

The EU can block the sanctions using its "blocking statute" — a move Spain's government said it would back. But will it?

Prominent US war hawk John Bolton has pled guilty to violating the Espionage Act after previously demanding execution for whistleblowers Edward Snowden & Chelsea Manning and 176 years in prison for publisher Julian Assange.

As part of a plea agreement, Bolton admitted to unlawfully retaining sensitive national security information. He now faces up to 5 years in prison, up to 3 years of supervised release, a $2.25 million fine, forfeiture of his pension, and is due to be sentenced on 28 October.
