Promises were made. They were broken.
Introducing Past.Present.Future.
A record of the civil liberties taken from us, and what's coming if we don’t change the path we’re on.
This is why parallel organising has never been more important.
Coming soon: The Past.
Loved this: @jarradhope_ tying the Cypherpunk motto, privacy for the weak, transparency for the powerful, straight to why KYC costs land on regular people, not banks. 🔑
"We are having block relays self censoring at like 43.7% as of today, that's a huge threat to everything that happens onchain," @jarradhope_

Freedom cannot depend on whether a company keeps its promises.
Anonymity must be built into the network. Otherwise, privacy is only a promise made by whoever controls the infrastructure.
The systems beneath society must remain beyond the reach of any single provider or powerful observer.
“Being anonymous is a precondition for freedom.”

I want to bring more young journalists to write about financial surveillance, censorship and oppression.
Who is out there? Who should I talk to? Say hi 👇
Testnet v0.2 brings privacy to the consensus layer of Logos blockchain.
Cryptarchia keeps leader elections private. The Blend Network makes block broadcasts anonymous.
Validators no longer have to expose their identity or stake to secure the chain.

The EU’s highest court has ruled that VPNs are legal tools, and VPN companies cannot be blamed simply because users employ them to bypass geo-blocks.
The ruling stems from a copyright case involving Anne Frank’s writings.
A Belgian website published some of her manuscripts online but blocked visitors from the Netherlands, where parts of the work remain protected by copyright until 2037.
Anne Frank’s rights holders argued the site was still breaking the law because users could bypass the block with a VPN.
The court disagreed and ruled that a website using effective geo-blocking cannot be held responsible if some users circumvent it with a VPN.
The judges also affirmed that VPNs are legitimate privacy tools.
Testnet v0.2 is live and open for you to try out.
Core protocols are hardened and the first privacy primitives are online, including Blend, which brings proposer anonymity to the consensus layer.

390+ node operators. 48 countries. Zero incentives.
No rewards, no leaderboard, no token drop — people just kept nodes running because they wanted to be part of @Logos_network.
Infra built on conviction, not carrots.
That's the base we're growing from. 🧵👇
Ethereum’s original vision was never just a blockchain.
It was a complete stack:
- EVM: consensus
- Whisper: messaging
- Swarm: storage
- Mist: the interface
They abandoned it
@Logos_network picked up the torch & modules converged in testnet v0.1. It gets even better in v0.2
The first Logos testnet saw Logos protocols converge into a single stack: modular, interoperable, and built for privacy.
As we reach the next stage on the roadmap, we take a look back on Testnet v0.1:

The “temporary” Chat Control 1.0 was rejected in March. It expired in April.
It has now been extended until 2028, even after a majority of MEPs voted to reject it.
Our freedoms hinge on our ability to communicate without surveillance. Measures like Chat Control undermine that.
“You have employers that are quite powerful, famous names that are taking advantage of passionate young musicians, artists, actors…”
And reporting them is a risk - personally and to your career.
Logos Circle / Los Angeles is building a private whistleblowing app to help people in Hollywood speak up safely, protect one another, and challenge the culture of silence that pervades the entertainment industry.
