Voted in Mississauga, turnout is looking good here. This contest is going to be a close one for us. All voters, Liberal or not, come out and vote. I know the gap between 1st and 2nd is big, but your vote can determine if this is a majority or minority parliament.
Debates over. I am glad to have been there. I do love these forms of democracy and honestly, with all the waiting and the mishaps I would hope nobody would call this a disaster. We got to see each other, pure and human, and in the age of spin that’s rare.
@TSPartyCanada Pressure creates poor mental health outcomes, aggression, and other such undesirable effects. It also helps contribute to violence against women, men being more likely to commit crime and commit suicide. So tell me, how do today’s events play into that dynamic?
@TSPartyCanada Except that’s not what that term means. It’s generally used in the context of traditional male gender roles, the traditional idea of masculinity. It is mainly strength and aggression, while avoiding weakness and emotion, so called effeminate traits that, thanks to societal...
It's the end of a long day, talking to real people. Remember to tune in to the Q&A tonight. I will say though, today, I am an out and proud lesbian. For every queer person in this beautiful province, you are heard! #internationalLesdbianDay
been a movement of issues, and this movement has accomplished much more than the Prime Ministerships of the people running against me now. Jobs are growing, the economy is booming, and we are just getting started. Get out and vote, show them what happens when we talk issues
Our platform is costed and clear. Our plan and record is clear. We have been delivering that message to Ontarians. Of all the political lies that have been said to me in the long stages of a career, that we are not talking issues is the most egregious. Since the start, this has
The issue was dealt with in the proper manner, and we are here to talk about real issues. Yet the Helen Lovejoys of the world want to distract this campaign from the real issues.
All I have to say today is, should I condemn someone for running in a sports bra or going swimming in a residential neighborhood? The matter was dealt with by the appropriate authorities, but is a body a sin that discounts the economic progress of this province?
Hello fellow Ontarians, I am busing to the North now. It is quite a long trip, but I do plan on stopping by a few projects that are moving forward thanks to OND funding. I mean, even this very bus shows the need to invest in transport. We have done that and we will continue to.
In other news I will be in London and the South-West today. Come out, say hi, and volunteer. It is not just voting that matters, but it is also volunteering for the OLP that will keep Ontario #ProuderStrongerBetter .
I want to take a moment to say that the recent surge in single issue candidacy is amazing for democracy. However I stress that it was a united government that got us out of the downturn. When you vote think about what would have happened if a special interest government was in.
Slow day on the campaign trail today, but we would like to thank those who came out to support Premier Collard. The platforms are out, so we are relaxing and reading, but from what we've seen it is only the Liberals that have shown they have a real, working plan and record.
I pride myself on being able to work with private businesses. Together we are leading Ontario into prosperity by working together. Others want to draw lines and end P3s. I am asking you the voters, when we are working together and prospering, why would you throw them away?
I would like to thank those who called in last night. Talking to the voters is a privilege I get every election. I am glad to hear your stories. Marginalized Ontarians face many trials and tribulations. You are being listened to, and you have a voice in our movement.
