Official geezer, retired Mental Health Counselor time 2 enjoy my family, Steelers/ Pens. What lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
Seeing Steeler Twitter questioning Tomlin’s offensive staff hires after years of screaming that very thing into the void (with @NealCoolong ) has allowed me to quit taking my “I feel like I’m crazy” pills.
Hypothetically of course.
@FarabaughFB Part of the issue is too many folks in general stop with Arm strength and size as the “things you can’t teach”….when so many of the intangibles go in the same category. Particularly b/c a lot of those could only be taught by getting the job you probably cant get without them.
We live in a culture where opinions are monetized and exploited. They are still just opinions, they should hold no weight in your mind/psyche. One’s about a team draft certainly shouldn’t. Its just fodder for the machine. Keep your opinion if you believe it and move on. ✌️
Draft felt like a scouting department, GM and coaching staff getting to know each other. Got some guys that will see the field for certain. The ceiling on that level of play is what is yet to be determined.
Our scouting report on new #Steelers RB/WR Eli Heidenreich. Not just a feel-good story. Real talent here. Versatile and will have to find exactly how he fits but you know he'll give the team all he has.

Here's a twist.... Steelers bring out Ramon Chinyoung to talk about Riley Nowakowski...
Chinyoung is the RBs coach...
"We see him as a fullback" (first and foremost)
I like a lot of the Steelers picks but also hate them. I kind of understand what they are doing, and also do not understand what they are doing. If they only had one third I'd be furious at the Allar pick. But with three of them I am mostly "meh" on it.
If he wins a game or contibutes to it people wont care where he was drafted. The issue is when could he have been gotten and who else you didnt get to jump this need early.
Not crazy about the where of the selection, but he will be fun to watch.
Wetjen to me is a good player who fills a big need at returner. The Steelers have been bad there.
But I think it's fair to question if a guy who only has 46 career touches at the FBS level is good value in the 4th round.
Real shot you spent a 4th rounder on a STs only guy.
#Steelers fans, @Steelers_DB and I did our best to make sense of a pretty rough day 2 of the draft, walking you through our evaluations of
Germie Bernard
Drew Allar
Daylen Everette
Gennings Dunker
to show you why we weren't high on this haul at all
