Despite facing challenges, Somali youth are working towards creating a more inclusive society for PWDS.
They are breaking barriers and advocating for the rights of PWDs.
Through their organization (OSIS) they are promoting inclusivity in media and advocating for the training of journalists in sign language. Overall, their story is an inspiring portrayal of the power of youth in creating a more inclusive society for all. It highlights the importance of advocacy and creating platforms for marginalized groups to be heard and represented.

@Hormuud revealed photos broadcasted by Al-Shabaab this morning that their facility in Sakow district in middle Juba was targeted by airstrikes. It didn't mention the extent of their loss, but they acknowledged the disruption of essential operations. The Company assured to the residents that efforts are underway to swiftly restore communication services.
It also said that 60'000 of its clients missing mobile money and communication services so far.
Al-Shabaab militants accused of #Kenya's @kdfinfo to have carried out the attack in the past two consecutive nights in the town. Such airstrike operation were reported to have taken place in Salagle , Jamame and Jilib districts. #Nomadlink independently confirmed the attack in Jilib district. #Somalia's federal Government, and international partners like @USAfricaCommand
#Turkey, #UAE and #Kenya did not comment on the on-going operation.
