@DaleVince Why do I have to point out again to you @DaleVince there is tax on flying. It is called Air Passenger Duty and it applies to every flight departing a UK airport, even on internal flights, apart from some very specific airport exemptions.

@DaleVince I will say again! Airline tickets may be VAT free but they are NOT tax free! Each and every ticket/flight from the UK has Air Passenger Duty applied instead of VAT. Please correct your statements to reflect this!

@DaleVince There is a tax on flying that is a tax on passengers, even if collected by airlines. It is called Air Passenger Duty and it is paid on every flight ticket from the UK.
