@Steve_Sailer The Seattle Seahawks have 45 seconds to pick a play. soccer players have less than a couple of seconds. But yes they rehearse patterns and pressures a mind numbing amount of times. An nfl quarterback is far less technical and tactical than a number #8.

@TheDavidVic @EtanBoss 16 million youth soccer players in 2025. Player base and cost of club soccer is a marginal reason we aren’t good. Most third division teams in Germany would dominate most MLS teams so salary isn’t really relevant we’re just technically and tactical 20 years behind Europe.
