@Rano85@JigBobo@EuroDale@Atl4life134458 Soccer is so much more intellectually advanced that NFL fans think the ball just moves back and forth on the pitch like computer coded magic lmao
@JigBobo@Nitroblssed@EuroDale@Atl4life134458 American football is kin to coaching U5 year olds soccer there is more penalty’s and mental errors in one NFL play than an entire la liga Match.
@Steve_Sailer The Seattle Seahawks have 45 seconds to pick a play. soccer players have less than a couple of seconds. But yes they rehearse patterns and pressures a mind numbing amount of times. An nfl quarterback is far less technical and tactical than a number #8.
@LokiJulianus No you’re exactly correct i ran a few routes for a D1 QB when I was 15 and it was like getting hit with lightening. The other guys argument was soccer players don’t have the size and speed to play or even stay alive apparently
@LokiJulianus So Trindon Holliday who is 5’5” 168 pounds can return kicks in the NFL and Devonte smith who is 6’ and weighs 170 can play WR but Mpabbe who is 5’10” 172 and has a faster recorded speed than Tyreek hill couldn’t?
@trickydickpol@DanCollins2011@odinisamu 2. The amount of muscle mass those guys have is detrimental to VO2Max they would never pass European test and they would never see the field.
@trickydickpol@DanCollins2011@odinisamu 1. If they dedicated their careers to soccer instead of those other sports they wouldn’t be as strong, fast or powerful. The amount of time and work it takes to get a world class first touch, they wouldn’t even be able to look at a weight room.
@BrandonBohning All that and yet his first touch is disturbing to watch he’s a visual representation of the word liability. At best he’s versatile/athletic sub
@TheDavidVic@EtanBoss I agree and understand what you’re saying but American players average 600 touches per week for the duration of their youth career while Europeans average 2,500 touches per week the technical debt cannot be over come. They start watching film at 13.
@TheDavidVic@EtanBoss 16 million youth soccer players in 2025. Player base and cost of club soccer is a marginal reason we aren’t good. Most third division teams in Germany would dominate most MLS teams so salary isn’t really relevant we’re just technically and tactical 20 years behind Europe.
@Mikefishx3@MericaCulture Yes I have. But I got the 1-3% from an Olympic sprint study so there’s that.. lots of soccer players run track in America up to 87% of them do
@Mikefishx3@MericaCulture Yeah which accounts for 1-3% of sprint speed lost which would be 21.86 on the high end. The guy has incredible acceleration but after 55 yards everyone is nearly identical.
