A gaslighter will never admit fault or take responsibility for their actions. A failed relationship doesn’t fall solely on one person. Know your rights and don’t be afraid to reach out to professionals for advice! Domestic violence shelters can help you notice the signs.
A sign that you are being gaslighted is a partner being on their phone a lot and being very secretive; several social media accounts are a red flag that something is being kept from you. Spending time talking about issues with a therapist is one of the ways to resolve issues.
Therapist are 100% confidential and do not discuss your situation with anybody. Reach out to a trusted professional in order to avoid isolation due to a gaslighter. You don’t have to suffer in silence.
Regardless of what a gaslighter says, it isn’t okay or beneficial to shame you to people who don’t help your situation. Reach out to therapists, advocates, and your representatives to help diminish gaslighting.
Financial troubles and secrecy is also a form of gaslighting. Talk open and honestly with your spouse about all finances in order to avoid being gaslighted. #nomoregaslighting
Gaslighting abusers will make their issues all about you and tell everyone your faults and not accept responsibility in a relationship. #nomoregaslighting
