I think most people fail to see what PLS DONATE really was.🤦♂️It wasn't just a game for @haz3m_ to "middleman donations".
The game was successful because of the community that formed around it. Thousands of content creators were able to give back to their fans and connect with their communities while getting super cool reactions and global recognition for their generosity.
People donated because they got something back from it. Being generous came with its own kind of reward. On top of giving wealthy players a place to LITERALLY share their wealth with kids who couldn't afford Robux, it was also a great game for networking and meeting successful people you likely never would have met otherwise.
Reducing the entire game to a "transaction skimmer" misses why millions of people played it in the first place. If you've actually spent time in the game, you'd know it was never just about the Robux—it was about the community, the interactions, and the culture that formed around giving.
I got to meet a lot of cool people through PLS DONATE. And Hazem being upset that his game is being shunned is totally justified.
@ke_will_ Wish I could’ve been there.
But Pls Donate has been incredible to so many people including myself. It’s sad to see a change like this happen 💛
Roblox telling developers they need 500 highly engaged users before their game can grow is like telling a startup they need customers before they can advertise.
Changes like this only make it harder for small developers to succeed on the platform.
These updates have officially ruined developing and other creating on the platform.
I understand and agree with the need for updates, but this ruins many experiences of development and interaction for content creators.
I really hope for different changes, but may be moving on..
If you own a Roblox game that has fewer than 100 active users in 60 days, anyone under the age of 16 will no longer be able to play.
Creators can regain this ability if the game gains 500 active players in another 60 days.

I did not think we would have to worry about an update this horrible.
This is one of the absolute worst and useless updates that @Roblox could ever make. It limits only 1,000 per month and RUINS developers and creators.
Roblox, please reconsider and actually think this through
Roblox is removing cross-game gamepass sales and forcing a $5/month requirement just to donate, with a 1,000 Robux monthly limit. This will kill PLS DONATE.
PLS DONATE is built around cross-game gamepass sales, a system that’s free for players and has no limits. Removing it doesn’t just change things, it kills the game completely.
I wasn’t made aware of this change before it was announced. No warning, no chance to give my input or feedback before they announce this change.
I’ve been developing on this platform since I was 12 and have always loved making games on Roblox, so seeing something this impactful happen overnight without real consideration is genuinely upsetting. This means a lot to me and I’m really sad about this.
The solution Roblox gave us is the Transfer API, which really isn’t a solution and still affects us heavily. It’s locked behind a $5/month subscription, capped at 1,000 Robux per month, and under-18 users require parental approval for EVERY SINGLE transaction. That completely changes the experience.
If transferring Robux is going to be paid, gamepasses need to coexist. Removing them ruins everything and doesn’t stop bad actors from just purchasing through the site anyway. It doesn’t make sense.
I really don’t want to build hatred toward this platform. I love Roblox and still believe in it, and if it truly cares about its developers, I’m sure there are better solutions that keep users safe without killing our game.
